Field Sales Territory Manager Job Description
We are seeking an independent, goal-driven, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Field Sales Territory Manager.

We specialize in frozen dessert, beverage and high-capacity cooking equipment. Our facility is located in Norwood, Massachusetts and we are looking to build our Sales Team with positions open in: Western Mass, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. We are seeking sales professionals who are eager to learn, earn and take pride in growing their own exclusive sales territory while developing the level of partnership and support that our customers have come to expect from TNE.
The Food Service industry is a fast-paced and innovative environment where no two days are the same. This role requires creative thinking, a growth mindset and significant windshield time. Your job is to discover and deliver top-tier, innovative solutions so our customers can elevate their operations, increase their revenue and keep their customers coming back for more. As a member of our Sales Team, your job will be to develop and expand our footprint within your territory and by doing so you have the opportunity to increase pay through a performance-based compensation package.
Your Duties & Responsibilities:
- Become a product category expert for all TNE equipment lines
- Grow sales within your territory to meet and exceed year-end quotas
- Actively develop your territory by spending significant time in the field meeting existing customers and cold calling
- Host equipment demos in TNE Kitchen on a regular basis to educate and motivate potential customers
- Work Regional Tradeshows and open houses
- Develop relationships with regional vendors
- Maintain accurate records of all leads, customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM on a daily basis
- Preparation for weekly TNE Sales Meetings
- Provide ongoing post-sale customer support by overseeing delivery, installation, training and support from our highly technical service team
- Collaborate with Parts, Service & Administrative teams to provide comprehensive customer service
- Ongoing sales training will be available and required
- Be present at initial equipment startup and training
Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred, but not necessary:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in equipment sales
- Experience in food service & restaurant industry
- Proficient in HubSpot CRM & Sales Tool
Necessary:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel within your assigned territory on a daily basis
- Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive inquiries and/or complaints
- Must have reliable transportation and acceptable driving record
- Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours to better manage time & territory including weekends and overnight stays
