Description
Corteva is seeking a dynamic **Territory Manager** to represent our leading **Pasture and Land Management business** and promote our innovative products and services in **Eastern** **North and South Dakota** . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Pasture and Management business and shaping the future of the industry in the territory and beyond.
**Location preference** : Sioux Falls, South Dakota (flexible depending on candidate qualifications)
**Key Responsibilities and Expectations:**
+ Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with distributor representatives, retail accounts, commercial applicators, and key influencers such as private consultants and university extension professionals.
+ Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve territory sales goals. Set and manage sales performance expectations for accounts within the territory.
+ Value Communication: Collaborate with distributor and retail accounts to effectively communicate and deliver the value proposition of Corteva's Pasture Management products.
+ Education and Engagement: Educate retailers, applicators, and key influencers, and cattle producers on the agronomic benefits and applications of Corteva's products and services. Actively gather and share market trends, account needs, and product feedback.
+ Market Insights: Collect and relay insights on market trends, product gaps, and customer needs to the commercial team to support product development and marketing strategies. Serve as the voice of the customer to ensure alignment with market demands.
Qualifications
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Ag Marketing/Communication, Agronomy, Business/Economics, or Weed Science.
+ 2-5 years of marketing and/or sales experience.
+ Prior experience in sales with knowledge of crop protection and/or pasture and land management markets is desirable.
+ Ability to pass a driving record background check.
+ Visa sponsorship and international relocation are NOT available for this position
