What We're Looking For:
Integrated Medical Systems is seeking a Territory Manager to build out our presence in West Virginia, Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and Western NY. Ideally, you will live in the Columbus Metropolitan Area. In this role, you are responsible for selling products and/or services within an assigned geographic area, or list of customer accounts to achieve a sales target. You will also pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, negotiate price and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders and transactions to meet revenue targets. We are a relationship based sales organization, so bring your experience building relationships and rapport with your clients! Our ideal candidate has experience in the medical field, and has worked in the non-acute world.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Identify new and potential customers in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels within an assigned sales territory and/or account
- Call points include: Home infusion pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, infusion centers, home respiratory, home enteral nutrition, hospice, 503A, 503B closed door pharmacy and compounding centers
- Activities include: relationship selling, needs assessments, trend forecasting, and continuous relationship development
- Build, manage and maintain viable working partnerships with your vendor manufacturing partners
- Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and maintaining effective agreements
- Initiate proactive calls with customers regarding sales opportunities, product information, sales trends, and other miscellaneous customer outreach
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions inside the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
- Conduct research and prepare for sales calls for assigned markets to ensure successful outcomes
- Utilize effective sales techniques to increase revenue and customer base
- Proactively recommend services and products needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and customer's ability to be competitive
- Enhance selling skills through structured education, in-services, and development initiatives, including self-study
- Facilitate internal activities related to accounts management and service
What You Bring to the Table:
Required Skills:
- 1-3 Years of medical device or B2B selling experience
- Ability to maintain existing customer base
- Experience consistently hitting and or over achieving sales objectives
- Cold calling and prospecting skills
- Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Strong and persuasive communication skills, ability to influence and drive customer behavior to a predetermined objective
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite
- Bachelor's degree
- Travel: 50% - 70%
