Short Description
The Territory Optimization Manager at Herc Rentals will play a key role in ensuring that Herc's sales and operational plans align with customer demand. The Territory Optimization Manager will be an essential asset to the growth of the national sales strategy, creating optimized sales territories to promote measurable value against company goals. The position will have strong collaboration with multiple divisions within the company including; Sales, Operations, HR, Fleet, Compensation, and Finance.
Responsibilities
* Manage the data, econometric and optimization models for market alignment
* Develop newly integrated sales territory planning processes, and improve pre-existing processes in partnership with national and regional sales teams
* Facilitate meetings with national and regional sales teams to ensure local market opportunity is optimized to growth expectations
* Utilize project management mindset to research, plan, and execute strategies to empower national and region sales teams to grow and scale their business
* Work with regional sales team to determine employment progression and opportunities
* Leverage internal and external data analytics to increase market share, drive revenue and support sales functions
* Manage territories assignments and realignments to maximize opportunity across company
* Work with internal customers to successfully implement strategies and tactics developed to meet the revenue/opportunity goals
* Identify opportunities by creating appropriate strategies by using various analytic tools and data.
* Proactively identify bottlenecks in the territory management process and implement strategies to improve efficiency
* Create, manage, and distribute regular communications, manage meetings, and drive projects to completion to ensure organizational effectiveness
* Understand and interpret large data sets to be applied and communicated
* Manage key KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KPO (Key Performance Objectives) through dashboards, reporting and project plans.
Conditions of Employment
Professional Experience
3+ years experience
Analytical experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Territory Management experience
Experience in BI tools, mapping and optimization software or similar software
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in a Business discipline
Skills

Compensation Data:
$70,000 - $95,000
