Leading manufacturer of commercial metal roofs and metal wall systems is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to market complete product line in the Northwest Ohio and Michigan markets. Looking for an experienced, self-motivated Project Manager, Estimator or Sales professional to grow existing business while expanding present customer base. The individual will work with professional roofing contractors, architects, specifiers, consultants, building owners and facility engineers. This is a technical-based sales opportunity.
Job Description
This position is responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits by selling products and services to existing customers and acquiring new business. This individual works to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning, organization, and territory management.
Essential Functions
1. Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers to promote company products and services.
2. Build and maintain solid working relationships with customers and installers by ensuring their needs are met and resolving issues in a timely manner.
3. Continually meet or exceed sales goals by persuading customers within assigned territory to purchase company products and services.
4. Gather information on projects bidding in territory to create sales quotes, including the use of provided take-off software to estimate required materials and quantities on bidding projects.
5. Read and understand specifications for materials on bidding projects to ensure the quoted information will meet the specified conditions.
6. Present educational courses to architects for Continuing Education credits as well as potential customers.
7. Attend and host trade shows to promote company products and services.
8. Professional communication with all departments within the company.
9. Effectively work from home office.
Experience and Competencies
Salary based on experience, PLUS Commissions and Bonuses with NO CAP!! Realistic first year income is $125,000 - $140,000!! Provides 401K, Vehicle Allowance, Cell Phone/Laptop, and Fuel Card, plus great company benefits.
Travel: This position requires travel, up to 30-35%, with driving throughout the territory including some overnight stays (5-6 nights per month).
