As the Territory Sales Rep, you will be based in your territory as you will have ownership of accounts from San Bruno to Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to exceed sales goals by developing and nurturing relationships with dental practices, oral surgeons, and the dental community at large. You'll sell cutting-edge Implant, Regenerative, and Restorative products, positioning your employer as a trusted strategic partner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by advancing relationships with dental practices, converting prospects, and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Become a trusted business advisor to customers, helping them achieve their growth goals with Straumann's solutions.
  • Develop strategic business plans, manage forecasts, and align sales activities with territory goals.
  • Represent Straumann at key industry events, including trade shows and regional events.
  • Leverage customer education opportunities to build relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Utilize sales tools, including SAP CRM, to track and analyze customer trends, ensuring optimal business strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date on clinical studies supporting the benefits of Straumann products and be able to communicate this to customers.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of sales experience in high-growth corporate markets.
  • Preferred: Medical device industry experience, ideally selling to physicians or dental professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt your approach based on customer needs.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently and make decisions with confidence.
  • Proven track record of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in sales.
  • Strong consultative selling background, familiarity with Challenger sales techniques or similar methods.
  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Reliable car transportation to visit clients onsite (you will be visiting 8-10 clients/day in person, at least 3 days/week).
