Job Description:

The position demands a leader with the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, develop, and implement strategic Sales objectives and action plans for addressing competitive market conditions and achieving sales growth.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, establishes sales objectives, and maintains rapport with key customers.
  • Responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and economic management as it relates to Sales
  • Maintain relationships with Sales clients and employees by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Provide constant coaching with employees to ensure company standards are met
  • Establish systems and monitor all sales efforts to meet goals and to control budgets
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Provide regular communication/feedback to CEO and other department managers as required
  • Execute monthly scorecard meetings with Territory Reps and Inside Sales
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards
  • Work closely with Marketing staff and other departments as needed to accomplish companywide goals and objectives
  • Responsible for leading and managing the sales staff and ensuring they meet established performance standards
  • Create a work environment and culture that attracts and maintains creative and professional personnel
  • Update all internal product pricing, as needed
  • Work with multiple departments to design, test, and manufacture new DCD products
  • Plan and attend trade shows
  • Oversee e-commerce platforms selling DCD products
  • Punctuality and regular attendance

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track and initiate claims process for missing and damaged packages
  • Maintain healthy vendor relationships
  • Assist locations with inventories
  • Liaison with sales and IT to see issues and improvements to completion

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking, standing, and driving within an 8-hour work period
  • Physical ability to do work requiring lifting 1 to 75 pounds

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Strong knowledge of sewer and drain industry and products
  • Clean driving record with a valid driver license

PREFERRED:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in the drain or plumbing industry

  • Travel 5-10%
