COMPANY OVERVIEW We are a distributor and remanufacturer of components for heavy duty diesel engines We primarily service emission aftertreatment systems and engine cooling systems for Class 5 8 trucks heavy machinery and stationary power units Based in Nashville Tennessee with multiple locations nationwide we are a premier provider in the heavy duty parts industry and features a brand synonymous with exceptional customer service and integrity POSITION OVERVIEW The Territory Sales Representative is the face of our company in our local markets Reps are tasked with identifying new market areas maintaining current customer relationships sourcing and connecting with new prospects and working in a team to develop strategies to outweigh competition As a heavy duty parts and service provider key customers include dealers and operators of diesel powered equipment in industries such as transportation & logistics distribution refuse construction mining power generation and more This role is a full time position and will report directly to the General Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Aggressively solicit orders from current and prospective customers to maintain and increase customer baseMaintain good customer relations by traveling throughout assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers to assess and manage customer needsCompile and manage lists of prospective customers in the RubberTree database for use in sales leads through cold calling and other techniquesPenetrate new and existing market areas to maintain and increase sales and market share for assigned territoriesDevelop working knowledge of branchregional profit and loss components and dynamics including pricing productsservice calculating desired margins and cost of productsserviceDevelop and maintain working knowledge of heavy duty truck parts and service pricing costs and application with a focus on our two core product lines aftertreatment & engine coolingDevelop and exhibit proficiency in commercial placement customer needs analysis customer upgrades and customer retentionMaintain awareness of the activities of all competitorsAssist with the identification and implementation of price increases for substandard accountsParticipate in business related meetings conferences social functions and civic organizations to boost the overall exposure of our companyPerform miscellaneous job related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferredMinimum 2 years of quota bearing sales experience preferably in an industry centric to diesel powered trucksequipmentPrevious experience in OEM or aftermarket parts andor fleet account management requiredValid drivers license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift and carry heavy parts and boxes up to 50 poundsMust be able to pass a background check and drug testMust be able to provide at least two recent referencesPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Intelligence possesses raw intellectDetailed Oriented pays close attention to small details and asks questions when faced with a lack of clarityResults Driven links decisions to overall business objectivesAffable & Collaborative ability to embrace support and practice a collaborative style which goes beyond relationship buildingIndustrious utilizes time at work wisely and proactively seeks ways to maintain productivity and efficiencyCommunicative possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skillsHigh Energy driven to seek continuous improvement and help build a culture of accountabilityLOCATION Memphis TennesseeCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation will be split between a highly competitive annual wage paid bi weekly and performance based commission incentives paid quarterly401kDentalVision InsuranceHealth InsurancePaid Time OffApplicants with a disability or a disabled veteran may request a reasonable accommodation if heshe is unable or limited in hisher ability to access job openings or apply for a job on our website as a result of hisher disability The applicant may request reasonable accommodations by contacting us at 317 ### ####
