The ideal candidate will oversee the company's sales operations in a particular territory. They will ensure that operations run smoothly, and that target goals and revenues are met. This candidate will build relationships with customers throughout a territory and generate new leads for business. The successful candidate will contribute to the competitive monitoring of assigned sector and to the analysis of the company's market positioning, to new market expectations and ensure that this information is shared with marketing.
Essential Functions
• Define, in collaboration with the sales department, the targeting of sectors of activity, and the types of companies to be developed commercially.
• Build, validate and manage the Customer and Prospect account plan, considering their strategic development challenges: targeting accounts, identifying potential, associated objectives, defining and monitoring action plans per account.
• Requires 80% travel within assigned territory.
Job Responsibilities
• Build, develop, and manage customer relations and maintain the customer relationship management system (Salesforce)
• Develop a prospecting database based on the various sources available: databases, directories, professional networks, leads from trade shows, visitors identified on our websites, etc.
• Identify customer needs to provide adapted and differentiating solutions.
• Stay abreast of the tools and commercial content made available in order to control the offer, its positioning, and its evolution.
• Promote all Haulotte solutions: New and used machines, spare parts, maintenance or reconditioning services, financing solutions, training (including end customers), etc.
• Manage the commercial transaction: initiate the opening of accounts, commercial proposal, follow-up of the outstanding amount, support for collection, delivery follow-up, follow-up of complaints.
• Participate, deploy, or relay operational marketing actions: events, trade shows, promotional operations, etc.…
Job Requirements
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2. Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to hit sales quotas.
- Sales Strategy development
- Advanced MS Office knowledge - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- MEWP industry knowledge
- Self-started with the ability to work independently planning daily and weekly activities.
3. Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in related field.
