Position SummarySURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an Test and Evaluation Engineer to support our Michigan Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community. This position is for a T&E Engineer or Engineering Technician on the Tactical Systems Test and Evaluation (TS T&E) Branch within the Product Assurance and Test (PA&T) Directorate in GVSC.This position is in support of the PEO CS&CSS Staff and is to be collocated with the PEO CS&CSS Staff as non-embedded support. Minimum Qualifications of Test and Evaluation Engineer Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study and 10+ years of relevant experience. Transitioning military with prior experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates are not required or expected to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, you are encouraged to apply.Ability to support and mentor less experienced T&E engineers during the development of their program's T&E strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements.Ability to work in a collaborative environment with product managers, engineers, logisticians, contracting analysts, budget analysts, along with multiple external Government organizations.Collaborate with GVSC T&E Technical Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain a T&E competency management program.Maintain test-related documents such as PEO level test schedule and programmatic test-related documentation.Coordinate and participate in regular engagements with ATEO, ATEC HQ and DOT&E.Participate in and support/lead the development of test-related common SOW language.Coordinate and conduct quarterly PEO CS&CSS wide test meetings.Have a working knowledge of program management.Travel occasionally (less than 10%) to the test sites in support of related meetings and test events.Provide T&E programmatic advice and knowledge of program, system engineering and value management technologies.Develop and present data for reviews to provide timely and accurate reporting and program status.Organize and encourage cross-PM communication within the PEO CS&CSS Test Community.Present T&E topics at the quarterly APEO SE Roundtable.Lead the development and execution of O-5 Test Program.Knowledge of the PEO/PM structure and organizations.Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate T&E best practices.Demonstrated program management skills.Demonstrated resource management skills.Demonstrated communication skills (oral & written).Knowledge and experience with SE Process.Demonstrated problem-solving skill with emphasis on analysis and decision presentation.Demonstrated ability in developing and reporting programmatic (Cost, Schedule, Performance of T&E Programs).Knowledge of the CCDC structure and organization, with emphasis on GVSC.
