Sr. QA: Test Automation Engineer With DB testing

Hybrid Location: Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications:

• Selenium, Java, API, DB testing & experienced in migration projects

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Expert in developing test strategies, and test plan, RFP.
• Enable better automation, but build comprehensive, scenario driven self contained tests cases. All test cases should have traceability to requirements, test data, encouraged result
• Has strong database knowledge on both relational Databases and NoSQL Databases
• Experience in DB migration, Batch execution process. File validation.
• Strong Test automation experience (6 plus years) with Web Services Testing, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Python, Java and or scripting experience
• Experience building Data testing pipelines
• Support high velocity delivery pipelines. Enabling integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipeline
• Enable move to shift left Quality automation. Collaborate with Dev teams. Build Automated functional, load tests and make it part of code base. That will enable developers to trigger the tests when improvements or bug fixes are made
• Very good Experience in API testing using Postman or other tools and automating API testing using Newman or other tools
• Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies and tools and, passion for quality processes.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to multi-task in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment
• Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
• Excellent oral and written English interpersonal skills
• Very good demeanor working with team across geographies
• Experience working with large 'Big Data' data sets and distributed computing tools a plus
• AWS experience is a plus
