Our client is looking for a Test Engineer to add to their team in the York, PA area. It is a contract-to-hire position, giving the opportunity to gain great experience with the potential of becoming permanent. Significant training in the job for product, processes, and the chance to work under a LabView expert. The compensation for this role goes up to $40/hr.Responsibilities:Aid in the design, development, and functionality of intricate test equipment using LabVIEW and TestStand.Participate in diagnosing issues on the manufacturing floor and identifying root causes.Assist with ongoing issues while emphasizing continuous improvement efforts.Oversee multiple projects, ensuring requirements are met in a team-oriented environment.Requirements:B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering, or a related discipline; alternatively, an Associate's degree with 7+ years of applicable experience.Proficiency in TestStand and LabVIEW is highly desirable.Familiarity with test equipment, including DC/AC power supplies, digital multimeters, frequency counters, and waveform generators.Understanding of troubleshooting and debugging at the electrical component level.Awareness of printed circuit board design, production, and assembly processes.Familiarity with communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.Strong problem-solving skills along with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.Experience in documentation and procedure development within a manufacturing context.Knowledge of automation and mechanical fixturing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
