The most important thing we build is TRUST #CustomerFocus #Values #Leader #TogetherWePioneer Overview Due to exciting growth, our Lansdale PA location is recruiting a Test Engineering Technician to provide support in the fabrication, integration and support of RF, Digital and Analog Test Stations and equipment. This equipment is used in the design verification, integration, qualification and acceptance testing of electronic assemblies, subassemblies and systems. In this dynamic environment you will participate in assembling and fabricating wire harnesses, control/interface drawers, test stations, prototype circuits, machining fixtures and station panels along with performing basic DC and continuity testing used in a wide variety of Aerospace and Defense applications, providing protection to our warfighters. The successful candidate will have a solid experience and background in assembly and machining and will also have the creative thinking skills to support the engineering team with prototype fabrications. CAES - Mission Systems is a leading supplier of integrated RF solutions and high power, solid state broadband transmitters for EW and Radar applications. We also design and manufacture antennas and precision positioners both for standalone aperture and positioner requirements as well as integrated sensor systems across many high-performance applications. Responsibilities General Duties/Responsibilities Assembly using soldering iron, microscope, crimp tools Ability using machining equipment like drill press, band saw, mill Performing DC and resistance testing Experience working in a hands-on environment Assist engineering with the fabrication, troubleshooting of Engineering prototypes Able to read and follow wire lists, schematics, mechanical drawings Multitask and adjust to changing priorities Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format Ability to take guidance from senior technicians and engineers An eagerness to learn a multitude of assembly, fabrication and testing skills Qualifications Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of experience in an assembly and/or machining environment. Two (2) years of experience with CAD programs Two (2) years of experience reading technical drawings and schematics This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Preferred Experience Two (2) years of experience in a production assembly environment Associates Degree or other two-year technical degree or equivalent J-STD-001 certified for solder and/or IPC-A-610 certified for inspection Experience with CAD programs Able to work with Microsoft Excel and Word Minimum of two (2) years of experience working under limited supervision Minimum of two (2) years of experience multitasking and handling multiple changing priorities efficiently Defense background and experience Active security clearance Salary Range: Test Engineering Tech II: $25.32/hour - $36,75/hour.
