Emerson is currently seeking a Test & Evaluation Technician to support the day to operation of our state-of-the-art Flow Lab in Marshalltown, IA. The individual selected for this critical role will be responsible for coordinating and conducting maintenance, conducting inspections, and working with the Delta V control system to ensure system availability for our Test Engineering team.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be
* Provide daily coordination of pressure, flow and flow media requirements for Test and Evaluation Engineers and their current and planned projects.
* Help mitigate facility conflicts in the master schedule prior to occurrence.
* Plan compressor and other equipment maintenance with minimum impact on testing master schedule.
* Propose and gain approval for lab improvements and upgrades for safety, efficiency, capability and flexibility.
* Plan and project manage changes and improvements to lab capability.
* Update as-installed documentation for DCS control system and equipment.
* Demonstrate proficiency in HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus and other communication protocols as required for process control equipment in the EIC.
* Modify and create LabView programs for test automation with an expert understanding of National Instruments data acquisition.

For this Role You Will Need:
* A two-year technical degree with 3 years industrial Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience or equivalent experience
* Strong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to plan, organize, and execute work efficiently.
* The possession of, or ability to quickly attain, detailed knowledge of a wide variety of industrial systems,
* The ability to perform low voltage controls wiring. Manage and coordinate complex projects with contractors.
* In-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems.
