**Job Description: Test Examiner Personnel Position Overview: The Test Examiner is responsible for the administration, control, and management of various testing procedures, including Army Personnel Testing (APT) and civilian examinations. They ensure adherence to established regulations, policies, and guidelines, maintaining the integrity and security of testing materials. The Test Examiner plays a crucial role in facilitating accurate and efficient testing processes. Key Responsibilities:
Test Administration : Order, receive, control, administer, score, and provide test results for both Army Personnel Testing (APT) and civilian examinations in compliance with relevant regulations and guidance. Certification : Obtain and maintain required online certifications such as Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), Army Personnel Testing (APT), and Army Personnel Testing Defense Foreign Language Program (DFLP) within the specified timeframe after commencement. Security Measures : Maintain strict control over all testing materials, reporting any compromises immediately to designated authorities. Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures. Compliance and Reporting : Meet all deadlines and suspense dates for reporting, submission of inventories, returning tests, and providing test results to appropriate agencies/institutions. Destroy test materials in accordance with regulations. Guideline Adherence : Perform testing activities in accordance with DANTES/APT Program guidelines, Army Regulations, and relevant handbooks. Ensure training and testing materials are up-to-date and aligned with current policies. Documentation : Keep accurate records of testing activities, including log books, answer sheets, and other relevant documentation as per DANTES, APT, and other exam policies. Collaboration and Communication : Conduct joint inventories with designated Government personnel, maintain communication with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and report testing issues promptly. Training and Support : Ensure sufficient testing materials are available for APT/DANTES Testing without delays. Administer the American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) in accordance with regulations. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Alternatively, a minimum of three years of professional relevant work experience in testing may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree.
- Passing scores on all required online certifications within two weeks after commencement or notification.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines including AR 611-5, AR 611-6, AR 601-210, AR 601-222, USMEPCOM 611-1, USMEPCOM 601-4, and DANTES Examination Program Handbook (DEPH), Volumes I and II.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Understanding of test security protocols and procedures.
- Adherence to deadlines and ability to work under pressure.
