Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, is recognized as a premier provider of modeling and simulation (M&S) training solutions to the Federal Government and industry. Since 2004, CESI has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and integrating simulation-based training, serious gaming, technical services, training and other support in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) domains. CESI also designs, builds and runs infrastructure, platforms, applications and processes that enable cyber training for the integrated multi-domain force. Manage multiple teams that tests software and hardware baselines as well as integrating systems together.

Designs and develops highly complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. Writes highly complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications. Monitors the gathering of test data and may supervise the evaluation of test results to determine if product designs and architecture meets customer specifications and performance expectations. Defines debug protocols for test hardware and software. Analyzes test cases and scenarios and reports results. Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade product performance. Works closely with the customer, stakeholders, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and software and hardware implementation. Understands the AGILE method of software development and can work in an AGILE environment. May provide technical consultation to other organizations and work leadership for lower-level employees.

  • Masters degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university. May substitute relevant military or work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Eight (8+) years experience in a Test Engineer position testing new software baselines, as well as supporting installation of software and hardware at remote sites.
  • Military experience in maneuver, fires, or protection war fighting functions

2 years or greater experience with STE TSS/TMT, 4 years or greater with experience, OneSAF, JCATS, WARSIM, HITS, RVCT, MCS systems, LVC-IA, Red Hat LINUX, Windows, VMWare. Experienced in leading teams of +8 people. Experience with U.S. Government contract deliverables. Experience working defining and decomposing system capability requirements

In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
