If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Test Manager to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland (US-MD),United States (US).The Test Manager will define and implement IT testing practices and procedures for the Maryland Medicaid Modular Transformation (MMT) program. The Test Manager will oversee the process for all testing and evaluation of MMT project initiatives and identify issues in software or services. He/she will analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates. The Manager will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Manager will perform a variety of testing tasks while also leading and directing the work of others on both DDI vendor and State teams. The Test Manager will coordinate and oversee all testing efforts such as but not limited to Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Load/Performance Testing. He/she will help with UAT testing and monitor defects, create defect reports, work with vendors and the state to resolve the defects/bugs. He/she will ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks. He/she will also manage testing artifacts.Required QualificationsBachelor's DegreeMinimum 5 years experience on Software Testing theories and practicesMinimum 5 years experience in Test Manager role on 1 or more Eligibility, Medicaid, or Human Services IT projectsMinimum 5 years experience in developing and using Test Automation, Test Strategy, Test Scripts and Test PlansMinimum 5 years testing project experience on large IT projectsCandidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of the Medicaid program and MMIS support systemsKnowledge of Six Sigma, CMM, CMMi and other industry standardsExperience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience with Agile, Waterfall and other Testing MethodologiesExperience with IBM DB2Experience with SharepointExperience with managing multiple groups with multiple testersExperience in Business Analysis roleExperience using test automation tools like Rational Functional TesterIndustry standard Testing Best PracticesTest CertificationsTesting phases, testing entrance and exit criteriaTesting data creation and maintenanceSet up testing environmentsDefect/bug management and familiarity with defect management tools (Bugzilla, JIRA etc.)Creating testing requirements from design documents, functional requirements etc.Familiarity with SQL scripts and writing queries; development tools and development languages; traceability mixWork well in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skillsAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
