Job Description:
Salary: $14.00 Hourly Location : Pontiac, IL Job Type: Temporary Part-time Unit: Enrollment and Student Services Division/Department: Student Support Services Opening Date: 10/15/2024 Description We seek applicants for a part-time position within Student Access and Accommodation Services (SAAS) to proctor tests at the College's Pontiac, IL location and support other SAAS operations as needed. Schedule is based on students' needs and may include up to 15 hours per week. Learn more about SAAS at General responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Serve as a test proctor, reader, and/or scribe for students according to their individual accommodation
  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of tests
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure appropriate handling of sensitive material in accordance with established procedure
  • Assist with other daily operations of SAAS as appropriate, including general office support tasks and special projects
Requirements
  • Associate degree or appropriate experience/education
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
  • Experience working in a testing environment and/or higher education disability support program
  • Knowledge of civil rights regulations (ADA, Section 504) as related to higher education
