Classification: Non-exempt Department: Operations Reports to: Production Manager Date: January 2024 JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The position performs hose testing, records test results, and packages products for shipment. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions 1. Read and follow all work order instructions. 2. Choose and apply appropriate stencils per work order instructions. 3. Follow and document third party and internal testing instructions. 4. Test hose assemblies to detect and locate leaks, connects hoses to high- pressure water line, using hand tools 5. Examines hose to detect leaks 6. Package and label all tested hose lengths for shipment. 7. Performs regular quality inspections on all outgoing products for shipping 8. Rejects all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations 9. Reports defective materials or questionable condition to the supervisor 10. Attains production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision 11. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition 12. Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Bulldog Hose rules and regulations 13. Follows the Bulldog Hose Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required the required tasks as directed by team leader 14. Ability to work well in a group Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil and grease. The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work from a variety of different angles and body positions. This noise level in the manufacturing environment can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, crouching, and crawling all day. The team member is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The team member is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear The team member must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are: 1. First shift 7:00am to 3:30 pm. 40 Hours per week 2. Second shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Opportunities to work extended hours and on the weekend, work may be optional or required as job duties demand Travel No travel is regularly expected for this position. Team member may be assigned to go out on a service call to a customer's premise Required Education and Experience 1. High School Diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience 2.
