This position serves as the first point of contact for students coming to the Testing Center and provides test administration and proctoring services, maintains confidential information related to prospective and/or current students, assists students with registration activities, schedules tests, provides advice and information to students in accordance with established guidelines. According to departmental needs, this position also serves as a Reader/Scribe to assist test takers needing accommodations in accordance with Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, this position must earn and maintain third-party vendor certifications on an annual basis, process and manage test submissions and completed test returns from/to all instructors using our RegisterBlast system and monitor all test taker check-in/check-outs.

Staff Duration: Part-Time, Fall Semester TH-F (4-8pm)
Part-Time, Spring Semester M-T (4-8pm)
1. Serves as the first point of contact for students and provides assists students with test registration activities, schedules tests and provides advice and information to students in accordance with established guidelines.
2. Proctors and administers tests upon completion of required certification programs.
3. Uses a database system (RegisterBlast) to check-in and/or schedule testing appointments and to process incoming test submissions and return completed tests to professors.
4. Verifies students' placement testing requirements and exemptions, reviews testing results and provides routine guidance regarding placement and next steps in enrollment process for advanced mathematics tests and provides guidance to assist students Placement Testing if interested for with Self-Guidance Placement.
5. Serves as Reader/Scribe for test takers in accordance with their 504 Plans while maintaining test integrity.
6. Maintains accurate data and files on designated systems, records test intake and output information, and maintains confidential information related to students' status, educational record and course content.
7. Performs general office duties as necessary, including reception and test score correspondence with particular attention to detail and confidentiality of information.

1. Associates Degree or successful completion of 60 college credits.
2. Completion of College level writing course with a G.P.A. of 3.00 or higher.
3. At least one year of office support experience of which at least six months was in a student/client service setting requiring the ability to work with special needs students and/or individuals with disabilities.
4. One year of recent Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook) and database experience and ability to create detailed and accurate documents, correspondence and reports.
5. Ability to attain test administration and proctoring certifications for vendor tests within 60 days of hire and maintain renewals as required.

2. Experience in providing support and guidance to students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special accommodations.
