MSLLC has also been recognized as one of the Top Employers in the Greater Knoxville area.The Testing Consultant enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.The Testing Consultant will be responsible for the followingPerforming test events, including System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Site Validation Test, and Mission Acceptance TestPerforming formal test reviews, including Test Readiness Review and Post Test ReviewPerforming test strategy activities, including Requirements Verification & System Validation, Customer Requirements Validation, Test Case Development, Test Incident Identification & Management, Test Incident Report (TIR) Processing, and Test Metrics ManagementCompiles or develops test cases for Test PlanIdentifies, documents, and prioritizes defects according to Test Lead guidanceConducts tests in accordance with Test PlanPrepares and provides regular status updates to Test Lead Inputs test results to test toolsTracks progress of test execution and test results in applicable test tools Evaluates efficiency of testing software and recommends alternative solutionsWhat you will need…U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a government security clearanceBachelor's degree in related field6+ years of experience in system testing with a focus on automation testing to include any of the following:Experience authoring Test cases and documenting test results – preferred with experience with AzureDevOpsExperience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processesUnderstanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (AzureDevOps)Must be detail-oriented and a team playerStrong verbal and written communication skillsLocation:This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours.
