Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech with PowerBI expeirnce in Maplewood, Minnesota with a well known industry leader. In this role you will support pilot plant manufacturing for the Industrial Tapes and Adhesives division.This is a first shift position-New Grads Considered!As a Chemist Lab Tech you will:Prepare materials and organize product testing.Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.Perform statistical data analysis, interpretation, and documentation of experimental results in technical notebooks.Document clean-up and migration for new systemsData ManagementManage customer scorecards for trackingThis is a full time contingent opportunity.Estimated Duration 24+ months.The ideal candidate will have:BS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or AS with 1-2 years lab experienceExposure or familiarity to PowerBIStrong computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite)Strong Independent worker- can self-manageComfortable with repetitive testing workFlexibility to switch gears- ability to thrive in a changing environmentPay Rate: $22.00-25.00 hr.
