EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Texas Conservation Alliance (TCA) is a 53-year-old non-profit conservation organization with a history of success securing prominent wildlife protections and advancing leaders in the conservation movement. It is the Texas affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation and coordinates a network of 50 organizations. Join our Team as the next outstanding Executive Director to continue our growing successes.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Executive Director serves as the CEO of the organization, overseeing all aspects of programs, administration, and fundraising. The position requires extensive knowledge of Texas wildlife conservation challenges and state and local advocacy and policy issues, particularly related to protecting water resources and wildlife habitats. The preferred candidate will show success in fund development including securing grants; knowledge of organizational management and budgeting; and experience in public relations, conservation advocacy, and building partnerships and coalitions with a broad range of interests.

JOB LOCATION:

• Must reside in Texas, with preference for central location such as Dallas or Austin areas.
• Flexibility for working remotely and at the Dallas Office.
