Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Textile Chemical Laboratory Technician where your expertise will directly influence the quality and innovation in textile product development. You'll ensure textiles meet stringent customer and regulatory standards, playing a pivotal role in our product lifecycle from conception to market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sample Preparation: Skillfully prepare textile samples for various testing protocols. Chemical Analysis: Employ advanced analytical techniques including GC, HPLC, FTIR, and spectrophotometry to analyze textile chemical properties.

Dye and Finish Testing: Conduct rigorous tests for color fastness, chemical resistance, and finish effectiveness.

Product Development: Work closely with customer service and technical teams to tailor textile solutions that meet specific market needs.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in chemical composition and performance in line with industry, regulatory, and company benchmarks.

Documentation: Accurately document all test procedures and outcomes, contributing to scientific literature and internal databases.

Instrument Maintenance: Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and maintained, collaborating with third-party services when required.

Research & Development: Keep abreast oftextile industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to and promote lab safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

ISO Standards: Leverage your ISO lab experience to uphold and enhance our Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications:

Education: An associate degree in Textile Technology, Chemistry, or a related field; BA/BS preferred.

Experience: At least 1-2 years in a similar role, with a track record of handling textile chemistry.

Technical Skills: Expert in operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment like GC, HPLC, FTIR, and more.

Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Communication: Excel in both written and verbal communication, essential for reporting and collaboration.

Stress Management: Thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment with the ability to multitask effectively.

Analytical Abilities: Strong capability in interpreting complex data sets.
