- Responsible for verifying and balancing all daily financial transactions, including guest charges, room rates, and payments, across all revenue-generating departments (Rooms, F&B, etc.)
- Review and audit room charges, phone calls, guest folios, and adjustments to guarantee accuracy.
- Run the nightly audit after verifying that all revenues are balanced for the day.
- Ensure that cash handling is compliant with hotel standards.
- Step into the shoes of a Front Desk Agent and Bellman when needed, assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, house availability, guest inquiries and requests. Providing a great guest experience.
- Provide managerial presence to 3rd party partners and contractors ensuring clear communications and that all are doing their part to provide a safe environment for the team and guests, alike.
- Attend meetings with the Front Office Manager and executive team as needed to review performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in Fire Safety and Loss Prevention programs.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for...
- A few years of experience in a Front Office supervisory role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
- Basic accounting knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with financial transactions, balancing ledgers, and identifying discrepancies.
- Experience with Opera with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.
- You have a passion for hospitality, you inspire an enthusiastic guest-centered approach.
- You can turn any situation around into a positive experience for all, guests and team alike.

- You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
