Location: Bettendorf,IA, USA
Under the general direction of the Shift Manger, this individual is primarily responsible for working in the lodge, collecting daily rink admissions, skate rental fees and concession sales. Administers first aid as needed, answers the phone, provides general information pertaining to The Landing Ice Rink, and maintains constant contact with the public, visitors, and patrons.

WORK SCHEDULE
Work schedule will take place primarily November through February, or as weather permits. Variable schedule working afternoon weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. The potential for a year-round schedule may be discussed.
Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDEducation:
Requires a level of education competency normally acquired through a minimum of two (2) years of high school.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of work experience in customer service and money handling. Ability to ice skate comfortably is preferred, but not required.
Interpersonal Skills:
Must be able to interpret and enforce all skating rules and policies. Must be able to work with a diverse population and a variety of ages. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with the public, including the part-time and full-time staff, and be able to deal in a persuasive manner.
Analytical Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Must be able to operate, in an efficient and safe manner, all equipment required for this position and in accordance with City policy and direction.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
The employee works primarily indoors, but will occasionally work in outside weather conditions, being exposed to extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Job Requirements:
Individual must have proper certification for CPR/AED and First Aid. If not currently certified, this training will be provided by employer.

Supervision: This position has no responsibility for the supervision of others.
