Theatre, Gallery and Event Staff (Part Time)Rutgers University-Camden FASC seeks multiple part-time positions for Theatre, Gallery and Event Staff. The position will assist the Department and the Production Manager with the construction of scenery and set design, setting up lights, sound equipment,props, and special effects for productions, concerts, and events in theaters and exhibitions in the galleries, as well as front-of-house operations and audience support for the department.Position Status: Part TimeHours Per Week: Up to 20 hours per weekWork Arrangement: This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.FLSA: NonexemptPosition Salary: Salary will commensurate with experience.Terms of Appointment: Temporary Staff Appointment - HourlyQualifications:Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Also requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy. - OR - Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience in the discipline. A master's degree in a specialized discipline may be required, particularly in research, project management or managerial positions. Also requires a minimum of five years experience and/or increasing functional responsibility in a leadership/managerial role. With a master's degree requirement, a minimum of three years of related experience is acceptable. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Qualified candidates will have live technical theater and stage hand experience, or experience with audience development and front-of-house operations.All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screenings.
