DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will help plan, organize, and lead activities and outings designed to enhance residents' socialization, relationships, self-respect, self-esteem, and self-help skills. You will foster a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, volunteer groups, other departments, and the public. Additionally, you will conduct and engage in program and leisure time activities, manage inventory of therapeutic supplies and equipment, and monitor resident behavior to provide insights on their progress, strengths, and needs. You will also contribute to staff development by participating in training and educational programs. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week + Work hours are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays as scheduled. + Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:+ Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee (commonwealth title); or + Six months of work experience providing care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities; or + An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirement: + You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: + A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. + This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. + Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
