Company DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout This Role:As a Therapeutic Area Lead within the Global Clinical Supply Chain team, you will be steering crucial end-to-end clinical supply chain planning for multiple products within a key therapeutic area in a dynamic and growth-orientated environment. You will captain a skilled team of supply chain professionals to oversee end-to-end clinical planning, manufacturing, and global distribution of investigational products in compliance with GXP and regulatory standards.In this pivotal role, you will deliver robust and efficient supply plans to accelerate clinical development of new treatments while maximizing our performance metrics and minimizing waste. As an organizational leader within the Global Clinical Supply Chain team, you will shape the strategic direction and initiatives within the department through innovative ways of working, fostering a culture of collaboration and striving for continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role that can be based either at our offices in RTP, NC or Cambridge, MA. What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end clinical supply chain management for up to 10 assets within a therapeutic area, ensuring continuous supply and risk mitigation.
- Develop and manage supply plans, including short-term and long-term strategies, while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Oversee label development, clinical pharmacy services, and clinical site services, maintaining compliant operations and practices.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and performance.
- Manage the annual budget and resource allocation for the therapeutic area, driving productivity targets and financial goals.
- Establish and drive a Center of Excellence model, standardizing practices and enhancing team performance visibility.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Global Supply Chain and organizational vision, driving operational enhancements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, potentially representing the company in audits and business reviews.

- Bachelor's degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated people management and cross-functional project management experience.
- Experience in a global and regulated environment.
- Expertise in financial planning and budget management.
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.
- Excellent team player with a proven ability to develop strong organizational networks.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to attain stakeholder buy-in.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
- Experience in pharma/biotechnology.
- APICS certification or Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt is an asset.
- Prior clinical supply experience is preferred.
- Experience representing a company in external audits and regulatory inspections.
