. Duties include, but are not limited to, implementing inclusion plans as written by Therapeutic Recreation staff.
- Work hands on in programs to support participants skill development, behaviors, communication, program participation, personal care, social engagement, etc.
- Provide 1:1 support or lowered program staff ratio for recreation programs.
- Supervise participants for safety and engage them in program activities.
- Complete documentation and appropriate reports.
- Train program staff in implementation of the inclusion plan. Model appropriate strategies and collaborate with program team to ensure participant success.
- Collaborate with TR staff to review and update support strategies.
- Assist with planning, equipment, facilitation, etc. of adapted programs.
- Attend and participate in all required training and staff meetings.
- Communicate confidentially and effectively both verbally and written. Perform other job- related duties as assigned.
