What we are looking for: As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. The Therapist provides therapeutic services to individuals in the Adult Outpatient Therapy program through individual, family, and group modalities on an outpatient basis. The Adult Outpatient Therapy program services help people work through their thoughts and feelings, learning new coping skills to reach their goals through a variety of different therapy modalities and other evidence-based practices. Compensation Range: The starting pay for this position is $47,600 - $56,000 for limited licensed candidates, and $51,850 - $61,000 annual salary for fully licensed candidates, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.   • Provide clinically appropriate outpatient, individual counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy with individuals, family therapy, and group therapy through a variety of different therapy modalities and other evidence-based practices.
  • Provide thorough and complete assessment, at intake and annually, to assess the client's history and identify treatment needs.
  • Develops a person-centered plan with each assigned client to identify needs and interventions to meet those needs and reviews plan at stated levels.
  • Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and recording client progress with respect to treatment goals. Modify person-centered plans according to change in client status.
  • Completes the appropriate level of functioning tools at policy stated intervals.
  • Provide crisis intervention when needed. Completion of lethality risk assessments as indicated (e.g. suicide/homicide/potential for violence/substance use) with dispositions and recommendations that are included in IPOS.
  • May provide basic coordination of services for each assigned client as needed or required by the treatment plan to coordinate services.
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach to services.
  • Complete all required documentation completely, accurately, and in accordance with CNS
  • Meet direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with quality care initiatives including Meaningful Use (MU), Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirements.
  • Ensure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served, guests, and staff.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth by current reading and attendance at educational programs and conferences.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures, corporate compliance program, code of ethics, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Required
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Temporary Limited-License Psychologist (TLLP), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment.
  • Working knowledge of conflict resolution, crisis intervention, person-centered planning, and clinical compliance practices.
  • Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations.

  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and the ability to formulate and implement an effective treatment plan.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships.
  • Ability to apply methods for measuring the multiple variables of treatment outcome and to recognize the importance of collecting and reporting on outcome data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously.
  • Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred
  • One year of clinical experience in individual and group psychotherapy using cognitive behavioral techniques under clinical supervision.
  • One year of master level experience in the examination and evaluation of adults with severe mental illness.
  • Prior experience in a community mental health setting.
