Acenda's expert team helps each individual, family and community move forward in their journey towards health and happiness. Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidenced-based family intervention program for youth ages 11-18 who are experiencing behavioral and relational problems at home and in the community. FFT is an effective treatment for a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems such as symptoms of conduct and oppositional and defiant behaviors. The ideal candidate is flexible, has a desire to work within a collaborative team environment, and engage with families in the community setting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-home therapeutic services to families using an evidence-based clinical approach
  • Provide culturally competent care to client population
  • Collaborate with system partners as needed, and continuously assess client needs and adjust services accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant mental health discipline
  • Must have strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn
  • Motivation and strong social skills to build healthy relationships with our clients and partner
  • Flexibility and passion for working with children/adolescents
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
