Inpatient therapists are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides behavioral health treatment to clients in our residential treatment facilities in Yakima. This particular position is located at Pathways, our residential treatment program in Yakima for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. At this facility, residents receive individualized, integrated, trauma-informed treatment that emphasizes stabilization and recovery. Staffed 24 hours a day by a multidisciplinary team, Pathways provides intensive short-term or long-term treatment for individuals who need a higher level of care than is provided by outpatient co-occurring treatment services. Working within a trauma-informed environment, Therapists assess clients' needs, coordinate with the team and client to develop a brief treatment plan, and implement evidence-based practices to help stabilize the client and prepare them for outpatient treatment. In addition, Therapists assist with case management, communicate with clients' support systems, and collaborate to develop a comprehensive discharge plan. This position requires a confident Therapist who is comfortable working with clients whose symptoms are highly acute, can establish rapport quickly, enjoys a small caseload, and excels at collaborating with other treatment teams and community providers. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
