COTA/PTA/ST/PT/OTR Therapists Wanted For In Person in all 5 Boroughs!Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support. The Therapist will work in various settings, including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments.Duties:- Assist Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans.- Implement and perform therapy interventions.- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including treatment notes and progress reports.- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet patients' unique needs.- Provide patient education and instruction on self-care techniques and exercises.- Assist with the development and implementation of ADLs and assistive technology.Experience:- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Therapist Studies and a current license to practice in the state where the position is located.- Previous experience working in a clinic, skilled nursing facility, or home health environment is highly desirable.- Experience working with geriatric patients and those with acute care needs is preferred.- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for this role.- Experience with care plans and the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans is necessary.- The Therapist must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient care and a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
