We are seeking a Therapist to join our team!
Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area's most vulnerable populations.
The organization is looking to add an additional Therapist to see adults to our established team of other Therapists and Behavioral Health Specialists. Primary duties would include - develop, implement, and administer treatment plans, perform diagnostic assessments, consult with the primary care team or treating Psychiatrist, conduct family counseling and education, and participate in formal and informal clinical supervision sessions. You will enjoy the benefit of a 4 day work week (Monday thru Thursday) working alongside a great team at the Rocking Horse!

Master's Degree (MSW/MS) with a minimum of LSW/LPC with Two (2) years related experience working with families and children. LISW/LPCC is preferred.

1. Education and/or Experience: Master's Degree (MSW/MS) with minimum of LSW/LPC with two years related experience working with families and children. LISW/LPCC preferred.
2. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, customers and the general public.
3. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
4. Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows applications, and a willingness to learn other programs including electronic health records.
5. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Minimum licensure required is LSW or LPC. Independent licensure such as LISW or LPCC. A current driver's license and an acceptable driving record. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.
6. Other Skills and Abilities: The duties of this position are performed within the mission, vision, and values as defined by the Board of Directors. Must demonstrate an understanding of the role of Federally Qualified Health Centers as a safety net for all persons without regard for their ability to pay for services; appreciate patient-centered care in a medical home; and be committed to quality, comprehensive services through a team approach. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are also necessary.
7. Confidentiality: The therapist is required to understand the privacy policies and procedures. Patient Health Information (PHI) is confidential, only the minimal amount of PHI necessary to accomplish the internal purpose is to be shared or released by the therapist.
8. Physical Demands: Regularly requires ability to talk and hear. Requires vision and hearing of normal range. Requires light physical exertion such as handling activities with lightweight or easily moved items (e.g. books, file folders, office supplies, etc.); performing moving activities for brief periods; and operating light equipment (computer, copier, etc.). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
9. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The position involves regular interaction with patients and other members of the general public. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
