Now Hiring for: Full Time Shifts: Moring, Evening, weekends available Start Rate: $34/hr Who We Are? The clinical therapist assists in the planning and implementing of treatment for residents in a psychiatric facility. The therapist is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team and provides individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducational group, and consultation to treatment staff. The therapist utilizes his/her knowledge and skill set to assist residents with non-pharmacological interventions, solution focuses on problem-solving, and comprehensive treatment utilizing research-based methods. Thorough and timely documentation is required. Essential duties and responsibilities: -The ability to plan and organize daily tasks and schedule; Facilitate daily psychoeducational groups; Engage in daily therapy sessions; Complete thorough process notes; Complete initial assessment and care plans; Effectively deescalate residents; Accurately complete assigned documentation per policy; Implement Pro-ACT principles (training provided); Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with staff members, residents, families, and visitors; Provide insightful consultation to interdisciplinary team members.
