Job Description:
The Violence Intervention and Prevention Senior Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services for clients who are at a heightened risk of engaging in violence in their community. This includes, but is not limited to, assessing client's mental health status, developing a client specific integrated summary, providing individual, group and family therapy and completing all required clinical documentation in compliance with KidsPeace and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Senior Clinician would help advocate for this grant funded program through inter-agency coordination and outreach.Job Duties / Essential Functions:* Complete client assessments and develop a client centered plan for treatment with each client.* Designate client problem areas, assist client in formulating related goals and tasks and support client in achieving these goals via the completion of specific tasks.* Provide group, individual and family therapy which directly address client goals.* Complete all required documentation in a timely manner on KidsPeace approved forms and according to KidsPeace and regulatory standards.Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences):* Master's Degree in Human Services related field.* Minimum of two years' experience in Human Services required.* Experience with acute emotionally challenged children, adolescents, and/or adults preferred.* Experience with at risk youth and young adults preferred.#KidspeacepccdJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
