A nonprofit organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensedOccupational Therapist (OT) to join their team at their schools in Queens. In this role, theOccupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for servicing school aged children with special needs in-person.Responsibilities:TheOccupational Therapist (OT) will:Provide screening and therapy services, as assignedKeep records, including daily session notes, quarterlies, and annual progress reportsProvide consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate personnel and programsConference regularly with parents regarding treatment and equipment needs of their childrenParticipate in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop appropriate treatment plans for assigned childrenAdapt and adjust therapeutic equipment to meet the needs of the childrenPerform other assigned duties, as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree inOccupational TherapyNYS Occupational Therapist (OT) licenseDesired Skills:Experience in a Preschool settingExperience working with the Pediatric populationExperience working with people dealing with Developmental Disabilities.
