A comprehensive multi-services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their growing facilities in Staten Island.About the Opportunity:* Setting: Article 16 Clinic* Schedule: Monday to Friday* Hours: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm* Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)* EMR: PrecisionCareResponsibilities: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will:* Planand implementprescribed OT treatment programs for persons receiving services to maintain and/or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability* Conductannual screens* Make assessments* Performdaily documentation* Handle other duties, as neededQualifications:* Bachelor's Degree* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school* NYS Occupational Therapist (OT)license* Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises* Microsoft Office proficient* Great interpersonal skills* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)* Strong attention to detail* Highly organizedDesired Skills:* Experience with wheelchair assessment* Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
