Position Overview:
As an Outpatient Group Therapist, you'll play a pivotal role in helping adolescents struggling with mental illness. You will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment team that includes other medical and clinical professionals. Your work will be integral to helping our patients develop the skills they need to thrive both within therapy and in their everyday lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead engaging and therapeutic group therapy sessions for adolescents, utilizing principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
* Collaborate with families, schools, and outside professionals to ensure treatment progress translates effectively into patients' daily lives
* Work alongside a supportive team of clinicians and medical professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
* Foster a warm, inviting, and creative space for adolescents to explore their challenges and work toward healing
* Document and track progress to ensure treatment goals are met, and adjust care plans as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
* Master's degree in a related mental health field
* Active licensure as LPCA, LPCC, LCSW, or CSW
* Experience and interest in working with adolescents facing mental health challenges
* Strong understanding and application of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
* Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
* Enthusiasm for leading group therapy and supporting a positive, creative treatment environment
* Ability to build meaningful connections with adolescents, families, and other professionals
