A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensedPhysical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in Queens on a Part-time basis.About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 3 days a week
- Hours: 8am to 2:30pm
- Setting: Preschool
- Age Range: 3 to 5 years old
Paid note taking will be completed onsite at the end of the day. Responsibilities:The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for:
- Providing screening, evaluation, and therapy services, as assigned
- Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and developing appropriate treatment plans for children
- Providing consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs
- Providing information to families regarding their childs motor development and stimulation
- Maintaining and making all records and reports available requiredPerform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school (New graduates will be considered!)
- NYS Physical Therapist (PT)license
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with the Pediatric population
- Previous experience in a School setting
