Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. Status: Part Time 7.5 hr Shift: DAY SHIFT Department: Physical Thrpy Inpatient Position Summary Summary: The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing timely, caring, appropriate, and skilled physical therapy intervention by evaluating/assessing, planning, goal setting, providing treatment and assessing the patient's response to treatment for patients of all ages. The Physical Therapist, working as a member of the interdisciplinary team collaborates and coordinates treatment plan and goals with other disciplines including Nurses, Physicians, et al. Qualifications Responsibilities: Education Required •Must complete in-house orientation program •Graduate of an accredited college degree program in Physical therapy. •Entry level Bachelor's or Master's degree Experience And Skills •Excellent interpersonal skills •Speaks, reads and writes English •BLS recommended for inpatient PT. •BLS required for SMART Center PT. License/Certifications •New York State license in Physical Therapy Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions •Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn •Prolonged standing and walking. •Moving in multiple positions (sitting, squatting, reaching). •Able to lift, move and assist patients with physical therapy.
