The S.I.T.E. (Sexual Issues Treatment & Education) Therapist is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical services offered to assigned clients, including the provision of individual, group and family therapy. QUALIFICATIONS: Meet one of the following: - Be licensed in the Commonwealth of PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker. - Be licensed as a Behavior Specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct care practicum. - Have a minimum of one (1) year, full-time experience providing mental health direct care services to children, youth, or young adults and have a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in a human services field.Prior direct care and therapy experience with children preferred. Prior experience with children/adolescents with sexual trauma, sexually reactive behaviors and/or sexual aggression preferred. Must possess ability to be trained and pass First Aid and CPR certifications and Mandated Reporter training. Valid Driver's License, vehicle insurance and registration required.Must participate in and receive specialized training monthly and annually in the field of sexual issues, focusing on trauma, sexually reactive behaviors and/or sexual aggression in addition to other clinical areas of focus as indicated by program (self-regulation, trauma-focused CBT, etc.) .Must be 21 years of age. JOB DUTIES: In collaboration with the Clinical Treatment Team, perform biopsychosocial assessments, outcome measures and assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning for each assigned client. Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of all necessary clinical, fiscal and program related forms. The SITE therapist will assist the Program Manager in ensuring that all appropriate documentation is maintained.Ensure that all treatment plans are individualized to client needs and learning styles and utilize evidence-based interventions and modalities. Provide individual, group, and family therapy according to treatment needs, goals, and objectives. Perform all assigned tasks relating to the intake, treatment and discharge of clients. Provide professional court testimony upon subpoena. Serve as liaison between clients, customers, parents and other team members to facilitate coordinated casework planning, therapy and outcomes. Provide customers with any required clinical reviews or reports as necessary for each assigned client. Provide on-call coverage for all clients on their caseload. Provide biopsychosocial information, treatment plan updates, updated assessments and other pertinent information regarding assigned clients to treatment team members in a clear and understandable fashion. Meet regularly with program leadership to develop program and treatment strategies. Assist program management in developing and evaluating programs and services to maintain progressive and effective treatment. All other duties as assigned by management.
