Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning for all applicable clients. Develop comprehensive diagnostic assessment within the scope of license.Position Description:Perform counseling, psychosocial intervention and treatment under close supervisionMaintain caseload and utilization by maintaining regular contact with clientsMonitor and assess progress utilizing supportive methodsInterview and observe clients and prepare clinical reports and individualized service plansMay provide family counseling according to established principles and best practicesProvide cognitive behavioral treatment, conduct assessments, individual/group counseling and case managementMay provide clinical direction and participate in providing in-service training to other treatment team membersProvides dependent diagnosis, under close supervision of an independently licensed supervisorProvides in-depth assessment services and diagnostic summaries; assesses and selects appropriate counseling methods in order to maximize treatment process and outcomes, both individual and groupEnsure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities in compliance with contract, regulatory and agency requirements and clinical best practicesAdhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations and licensure scopeConsult with team members concerning situations and possible courses of actionComplete agency, accrediting body, and funder required training Other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to interact with others in an ethical, culturally sensitive and respectful mannerExcellent organizational and time management skillsBe adaptive, flexible and responsive to the needs of the client and programEffective verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate professional behavior and strong clinical boundariesStrong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing tasksRemain current in general knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects and DSM-V/ICD-10 diagnosisAbility to use electronic service documentation system effectivelyJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher and at least one of the following licenses: LSW, LPC, MFT2 - 5 years clinical counseling experience preferredEssential Functions/Physical Demands:Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Infrequent standing and walking. Frequent to constant sitting.Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
