Works under general supervision and oversees the day-to-day activities of a clinical trial in accordance with Good Clinical Research Practice (GCP). Performs a variety of research activities in support of clinical research to assist investigators in recruitment and consenting research participants, , and conducting research study visits such as implementing interventions and assisting with collecting data with human participants. Supports editorial aspects of grants and manuscripts, assists with scheduling research participants, assists with preparing IRB. s study visits. Essential Functions:
- Performs a variety of research study responsibilities, including collecting and entering research data.
- Organizes and maintains documentation required for research studies and clinical trial(s).
- Informs Principal Investigator and/or designated individual on any issues concerning participants' response to treatment/medication/any adverse effects overall to participants.
- Assists Principal Investigator with regulatory body filings including IRB submissions.
- Assists in the recruitment and enrollment of human subjects.
- Assists with the set-up, implementation and clean-up of study visits.
- May Assists study therapists with the implementation of study visists, including participant guarding and transfers.
- May provide clerical and technical support to ensure adherence to research protocols and quality of information received.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Graudate of accredited physical therapy assistant (PTA) or occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program required. AND Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree/Master's degree and previous experience preferred. Or Associates degree with 1 year of practice as a certificed occupational therapy assistant or physical therapy assistant preferred. Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
- CPR required
- PA state license - OTA or PTA
