Job Title: Outpatient Therapist (OT) Job Specialty: Occupational Therapy (OT) - Outpatient Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week Experience: New Grads Accepted License: Pending State License Accepted Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Experience in hand/orthopedic therapy- Experience with Epic system preferred- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred Job Description: - Combination of outpatient orthopedic and neurological diagnoses- Therapists have the flexibility to choose between five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days- Block 14 evaluations per week per therapist, with remaining sessions for treatment- Chart review time is allocated twice a day for 8-hour shifts and three times a day for 10-hour shifts- 60-minute evaluations and varying treatment time (30, 45, or 60 minutes based on circumstances)- Patient demographic is 70% orthopedic and 30% neurological- Facilities include specialists in pelvic health, lymphedema, chronic pain, vestibular therapy, and an LSVT program- Multidisciplinary approach with physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists- Epic training provided during orientation- Orientation includes hospital and department onboarding over three days- Business casual dress code- Work environment is one-on-one patient carePlease note that therapists will receive additional charting time during the first week or two to acclimate to the patient load and specific charting requirements.
