Location: Charlottesville,VA, USA
The Physical Therapy Aide I is responsible for providing limited clinical support to clinicians in a physical therapy/occupational therapy office. These duties may include: assisting providers and other staff, maintaining clean and safe clinic environment, assisting with patient transfers/guarding, inventory and stocking supplies.
Clinical:
- Prepare patients to see provider(s).
- Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies for the practice.
- Clean and stock supplies
- Occasional back up to the front desk.
- Cleaning and upkeep of equipment and supplies
- Assist clinicians with patient transfers/guarding
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous clinical office experience preferred.
Licensure: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Busy and fast paced outpatient clinical environment. Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
