Since 1954, Woodgrain is proud to be family owned and operated.Job Summary:The Manufacturing Maintenance Tech provides support for the department by maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and machinery. This position supports the manufacturing operations to ensure the equipment is running properly and efficiently, drives and helps sustain continuous improvement, and promotes safe work practices.Duties & Responsibilities:* Perform maintenance on all types of production equipment with limited supervision.* Follow all company safety and quality requirements.* Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment throughout the department, includes maintenance on production equipment/machines.* Perform scheduled safety inspections throughout the department.* Provide mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance to equipment as needed.* Assist in ordering, inventorying, and storing of maintenance parts and supplies.* Responsible for the care, safe and efficient, use and security of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies.* Maintain a clean and safe work area.* Work in a safe manner at all times and follow all company safety rules and guidelines.* Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends as needed.* Proper PPE Usage while performing all job duties.* Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures* Perform other duties as assignedThis individual should exemplify the company values of Integrity, Servant Leadership, Respect for People, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Focus.Requirements:* 5+ years of previous industrial maintenance to include mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience.* Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools and equipment, safe use of hand and power tools.* Troubleshooting/diagnostic skills required.* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.* Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment.* Effective time management and organizational skills.* The ability to read and comprehend written instructions as required to complete assigned tasks* Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as required by specific jobs* Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment* High level attention to detail.Additional Skills:Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.Applications will be accepted until the position has been filled.Summary of Company Benefits:* Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance* Health Savings Account (HSA)* Flexible Spending Account (FSA)* 401(k) with 3% Employer Match* Group Term Life Insurance and AD&D* Employer Paid Long-Term & Short-Term Disability* Voluntary Supplemental Hospital and Accident Plans* Employee Assistance Program* 9 Company Paid Holidays & 1 Floating Holiday* Progressive Paid Time Off (PTO) AccrualsPhysical Demands: The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
