Mailing address: 1310 Robertson Dr, Crestwood, KY 40014Duties: Attend to overall care of thoroughbred racehorses includes feed, water, maintenance of stalls & tack, clean, brush, trim of horses, disinfect stalls & bedding. Will lift legs & clean feet & apply liniments & bandages to legs as required. Will care for 1-5 horses @ a time. Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Lift up to 50 lbs.Worksite: Saratoga Racetrack: 267 Union Ave, Saratoga Springs NY 12866.Requirements: No minimum education required, 1 month experience required.Work hours: Workdays vary, split shift 5am-11am and 3pm-5pm, 40 hours/week at $17.66/hour. OT possible at $26.49/hour.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. Employer will make all deductions required by law.Optional employer offered housing at the backstretch at no cost to the worker.Transportation and subsistence pay provided to the place of employment from the place from which the worker originates if worker completes half of the employment period ($15.88/day without receipts, up to a maximum of $59/day with receipts).Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
