Our employees are the reason for our successPosition SummaryThe Roller Operator will set-up and operate thread roller equipment. This individual will possess and demonstrate the skills necessary to maintain production requirements and quality standardsPosition Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Follow all safety rules.
- Operating understanding of thread roller machines.
- Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment as required.
- Read and understand prints.
- Perform first piece inspection, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Move material by operating a forklift or using non-motorized devices as needed.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance such as oil, filter changes and daily requirements.
- Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to maximize production efficiencies.
- Train and assist other operators and department personnel as needed.
- Suggest and implement process improvement ideas.
- Maintain clean, orderly work area
- Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications-Education/ExperienceRequired:
- Ability to use all gauges and gauging techniques required.
- Ability to set-up and operate one or more sizes/types of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to consistently meet production and quality standards
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of all required operator documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, including written communication as needed.
- Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
- Leadership skill and ability to train others.
- Use math skills for blueprint reading and SPC.
- Demonstrate the understanding of the manufacturing process and machine requirements to perform basic and repetitive work assignments.

- Previous problem solving and troubleshooting skills/experience.
- Knowledge in IATF16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices.
Preferred:
- Minimum one to three years' experience in a direct or related field.
- Formal mechanical or technical training.
- Forklift operation/material-handling experience.
